Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice is effective August 14, 2026 and applies to Glade websites, accounts, dashboards, APIs, support, and related services. Glade is the controller of personal data it collects directly for account administration, billing, security, analytics, and support.

Customers determine the purpose of data they submit through their workflows and are responsible for having an appropriate legal basis for that processing. Where a separate data processing agreement applies, the roles and instructions in that agreement control.

Glade processes account identifiers, organization membership and roles, billing references, subscription status, API-key metadata, request and usage metadata, submitted query parameters, support records, security and browser-abuse signals, consent choices, and device or browser information. Glade also processes public marketplace data requested through the service.

Full API keys are shown once and are not recoverable from the database. Glade does not intentionally collect payment-card numbers; payment processors handle payment credentials under their own notices.

Glade uses information to provide and meter the service, authenticate users, administer organizations, process billing, deliver support, prevent abuse, investigate errors, maintain security, comply with law, and improve reliability and product design.

Processing is based on performance of the service agreement, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required for optional analytics. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through the available consent controls.

Essential storage supports authentication, security, consent state, and service operation. Optional PostHog analytics and masked session replay are consent-gated. Analytics event schemas exclude API keys, authorization headers, provider payloads, response bodies, billing details, authenticated search inputs, and free-form customer content.

Glade shares personal data with service providers that support hosting, authentication, databases, payments, storage, analytics, communications, fraud prevention, and security. Providers may process data only for contracted services and subject to applicable confidentiality and security obligations.

Information may also be shared with authorized members of your organization, when required by law or valid legal process, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets subject to appropriate safeguards. Glade does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Glade retains account and organization data while an account is active and as needed to provide the service. Request logs follow plan-specific retention periods, and generated exports expire automatically. Billing, security, audit, dispute, and legal-compliance records may be retained longer where necessary. Backups are removed on their normal rotation unless preservation is legally required.

Glade and its providers may process data in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, Glade uses contractual, organizational, or other recognized safeguards for international transfers.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of personal data, withdraw consent, or appeal a request decision. Glade will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Submit a request through authenticated dashboard support or the Contact page. Glade may verify your identity and authority before completing a request, and legal exceptions may apply. Organization administrators can manage member access and certain account information directly in the dashboard.

Glade uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including scoped access, reveal-once API keys, hashed credentials, and private storage. No system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Glade is a business service and is not directed to children under 18. Glade does not knowingly collect personal data from children. This notice may be updated as practices or legal requirements change; material changes will be identified by a new effective date and communicated when appropriate.
