The canonical payload is returned under data.amazonProduct. The current policy TTL is 6 hours; response headers report the cache decision, fetched time, request ID, and unit cost. Location-sensitive values use the documented default delivery context for the selected marketplace.

- 400 / 7001 — invalid or mutually inconsistent input.
- 401 / 7003 — missing, malformed, expired, revoked, or CIDR-restricted key.
- 403 / 7403 — scope, plan, organization, or interface is not enabled.
- 429 — atomic rate, concurrency, or quota decision rejected the request.
- 502/503/504 — provider, schema, circuit, or timeout failure; zero units.
